What JustDivorce.in is
JustDivorce.in is a legal-technology platform that helps you find and instruct independently enrolled advocates and, separately, vetted non-legal professionals. We charge a flat, disclosed platform fee for matching and scheduling.
What it is not
JustDivorce.in is not a law firm and does not practise law. Legal services are rendered by advocates in their individual capacity, on fees they set and you agree with them directly. Nothing on this website is legal advice, and reading it does not create an advocate–client relationship. We do not rank, rate, or promote individual advocates, consistent with Bar Council of India Rule 36.
Fees
Our platform fee is shown to you before you confirm any booking. We take no share of, and no commission on, any advocate's professional fee. Non-legal partners bill you directly.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information in your intake, and verify independently anything material to your matter. Deadlines in family-law proceedings — limitation, appeals, interim applications — are your advocate's and your responsibility once you are engaged.
Liability
We are responsible for operating the platform with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for the advice, conduct, or outcomes of independent advocates or non-legal partners you engage. Our aggregate liability for platform failures is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection rights you cannot waive.
